In 1975, representatives of various Polish
churches, organizations, and Fraternal societies joined together
to commemorate the two hundredth anniversary of the United
States of America. With great support from the entire
Polish-American community and with dedication and effort by the
members of the committee, the commemoration was brought to a
successful conclusion in September, 1976.
During 1977, members of the Committee
expressed a desire to continue with some form of an organization
and that the dialogue and combined effort would be directed
toward solidifying relationships between the various Polish
organizations.
